Birth Story's are completed!!

I am so happy I was able to get these done. I did not add every little detail, but the basics are there. The birth experience for each child was very different, and when they are older, they can compare how they came in to the world. I went with a very simple approach, nothing to fancy. The layout and idea for the page, came from a blog post by Ali Edwards about the baby album she had made for her daughter Anna.

My pages are hybrid, I used my computer to print off the paper and the oval embellishments. I used cardstock and border punches to create the strips of paper lying across the photos. An oval punch was used to get the perfect little ovals. On the page for Joshua, I ran the paper strip through the big shot with an embossing folder. The majority of the products I used for these pages were Stampin' UP! The background paper and little ovals were downloads that I purchased and added to "My Digital Studio™". River Rock Card stock was used to create the booklet for the birth story. Basically everything, except for some adhesive and the matte photo paper I printed the images on were all SU supplies. The font I used for the stories is an Ali Edwards handwriting font. I found it on her site as a free download.
